Gov't Code ch. 552, including §§552.021, .221, .234, and .261-.274. Public-access rules for vital records, including the anniversary rules in §552.115, remain subject to the applicable custodian and statute. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, HB 4, effective July 1, 2024, applies to covered business data practices and does not make a government record deletable from its original custodian.

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
